03:02:48 – “It’s Jon Wolfert. I’ll see ya in a couple o’ weeks.”So I take it that the next live show would be December 9th then? In any case, that would give me time to catch up on the other scoped shows I haven’t fully listened to yet…

You’ll be disappointed.
So I take it that the next live show would be December 9th then?
A couple of weeks would make it 2nd December.

PS – if Dave Nightingale cuts & pastes his namecheck out of the audio, he’ll find that Jon “almost sings” it !!!

Lovin’ Jon’s show !December 4, 2018 at 3:13 pm #103325IainJohnstonI think everyone will appreciate Jon going ahead with the show this week, under the circumstances,
it clearly wasn’t easy, and a fine tribute to Brian.Personally, I liked hearing the Some Kind of Radio piece – some resings there I’d never heard before of
a package that was a favourite of mine back then – I used to have an actual 5″ blue-box PAMS demo
reel of it once upon a time. Also, and especially, the KIIS PAMS customs from the early 1970 – one of the “best hits” in my early
collecting days of writing off to stations was when in January 1972 a jiffy bag “thudded in” from
Wiltshire Boulevard with a 5″ reel selection of jingles and “promos” direct from KIIS.Having listened to Jon’s audio, I now know that I’m NOT the first to have ever had Hot Kiis Cut #12
with sonovox on it – the station themselves beat me to it with their air-versionsFor anyone not familiar with the original KIIS PAMS customs from when they first went on air,
here’s a re-visit to my 2009 (!) montage when JM had a “Members audio posting area”.As I’ve said far too often before, I would welcome if Jon would put a list or something on the PAMS website pages
to clearly say which PAMS NON-Series package might be “available for re-sing”, either “in whole or in part”,
to coin a phrase…December 4, 2018 at 3:57 pm #103326gameswizardMemberThanks Mike for the unscoped link.
Lovin’ Jon’s show !You’re welcome!
December 4, 2018 at 4:21 pm #103327Jeffrey T. MasonMemberI would welcome if Jon would put a list or something on the PAMS website pages
to clearly say which PAMS NON-Series package might be “available for re-sing”, either “in whole or in part”,
to coin a phrase…I recently had Jon produce an obscure cut for Jeffro Radio from a PAMS custom for the US Army! I had NO clue what the package was called or if it was even available. All it took was an e-mail and Jon not only identified the cut, but located the master tape. And YES, it was still on tape. Nobody had ever ordered anything from this package since they took over PAMS. (Probably not since they sang the damn thing in the 70s!)
My point: NEVER be afraid to ask…no matter how obscure.
December 5, 2018 at 8:38 am #103328IainJohnstonA quick PS to my post above – Jon and WWDC – I still have some of the Ralph Stacheon custom cuts, in stereo,
on a reel that I similarly got from them back in 1972 (it even came in a “pyschelic label” 5″ box, plus A 30 minute
aircheck 7″reel) The jingles are still here – I haven’t the nerve to try to repair the reel after 46 years!I do have a “very old backup copy” though, the story of which is too odd to explain, but the audio from that
will/appear later (hopefully).December 5, 2018 at 9:37 am #103329IainJohnstonOK, and with apologies for the “reference only” quality due to the audio source but credits due to
JP and GC that I could compile this at all, you won’t hear anything like these in “woah, woah land”
today…https://soundcloud.com/allthebestjingles03/ij-classicstacheon-wwdc-doubled-1/s-cMehC
Has Trella Hart, “doubled” PAMS 33 style, doing a sort-of Carol King sound-alike.
Probably the only package, other than maybe some Heller from that era, as “BIG” as that, either as
in size of cuts or in production content, was the PREVIOUS Ralph Stacheon for WWDC to this one.(I still don’t know HOW Jon managed in one to “feature” in the one show TWO station packages from
stations I blagged tapes from away back in 1972 – even when he did some WJJD Chicago recently in the
same week I’d put some of there’s up on here!)December 5, 2018 at 10:42 am #103330ratnobMemberI recently had Jon produce an obscure cut for Jeffro Radio from a PAMS custom for the US Army!
How tantalising. Any chance of us hearing it here at JM … ?
December 5, 2018 at 9:26 pm #103332Jeffrey T. MasonMemberThat could be arranged.

December 6, 2018 at 12:36 am #103335dianablanton1984MemberAnother great show as always from Jon! Wonder what jingle requests would we get on the December 9th show??? I don’t know…
I would say that if anyone requests Jon talking in a fast yelling Top 40 jock mode again would be the one to blame! Segment in question is at 32:13 on the scoped aircheck…
December 6, 2018 at 7:06 am #103336nleiboActually the “fast-yelling” DJ mode wasn’t that bad–it was the EXCESS Reverb that killed it for me…
December 6, 2018 at 8:55 am #103337IainJohnston“Groovy man.. Love that”
There’s so much custom PAMS from that era that many a Collector will never have heard
unless they’d had a chance to hear/buy the KenR CDs…er….:^)December 10, 2018 at 4:53 am #103362gameswizardMemberUnscoped show from Sunday 9th December 2018 (running time 3hrs 3min):
