Driving into work (in the sunshine!) listening to Jon’s second show sure beats the London stations.

Great show yesterday. Unfortunally there were some problems the first 30 minutes with the internet connection from JAM headquarters.
I enjoyed the inside jingle stories and the background info on specific jingles/packages. Jon has also great DJ scales (knowledge of the music, talking over intros .e.t.c.).
Maybe choosing an other radio automation system, but you can’t have it all :-)

Looking forward to today’s show – Jon will be chatting to Trella Hart and Abby Holmes!! It starts at 3pm (ET) so for us Brits that means 8pm. Unfortunately I’m going to miss the first hour, but I’ll be joining you all for the second hour. Hopefully Jon will be kind enough to put a link up to listen again soon.

Oh wow, I hope a recording of this weeks episode is going to be made available. Jon just played the famous Radio 1 jingle “playing the oldies…..National radio 1” sung by Abby Holmes. He then played a resing of the same jingle Abby recorded for Radio 1’s 50th anniversary last year.

PPM, that 50th version of the R1 jingle (and others) are featured on my montage: https://soundcloud.com/user-980623173/the-ones-that-got-away

Yes, I hope Jon uploads the scoped version of the entire show- the best one yet

Here’s the Rewound Radio show from June 24.

Even with the songs cut out, it’s still over 2 hours long! (The interview alone was an hour.)
                              http://www.jingles.com/audio/stash/Rewound-24Jun18.mp3

The interview starts at around 30:45, but skip at your own risk because there are fun jingle segments to either side.

                              Thanks for listening!

Thank you Jon for this outstanding series of programs. It has been compelling listening – an excellent mixture of music, jingles and ‘behind the scenes’ anecdotes about the industry. Look forward to your return later in the summer. Thanks again!

How delicious to have long, in-depth interviews with both Abby and Trella… precious memories recorded for posterity…

…. I always remember watching Abby (and Chris) doing the solos/duet on our Trent cut “Christmas is here there’s lights on the tree…” in 1991,,,

These were then ‘preserved’ on the GEM re-sing 3 years ago….

Am kicking myself for not listening live – had thought you were taking a summer radio break. Delighted to have this scoped aircheck. Thank you!

This is a brilliant show – I loved the KQV Pittsburgh segment, and Jon’s very personal tribute (with amazing audio) to Dan Ingram is fascinating and poignant. Go listen now.

It ia a treat to hear Jon every week on Rewound Radio talking about jingles. It was awesome to hear Jon mention my KQV website when he did the KQV Pittsburgh segment. There are many links to the site. Here is one of them. http://14kqv.radiosite.org (Jeff Roteman)

It was on the NYRMB & NYBHB I learned of your shows & for several weeks after, saw updates on those Boards–so why would I look elsewhere? But I DID get to hear the scoped version (which is fine with me)–and enjoy the show immensely, Jon. If i keep listening, someday I may actually get to HEAR my jingle requests (so far 0 for 3)…:)
