There was no show yesterday, but I didn’t think there would be because at the end of last weeks show, Jon said “At 3 it’s usually me. We’ll see what happens.” and I thought to myself “I bet Jon won’t be on.”

I heard that comment, as well–but you never know. Did he & Allen(“Rewound Radio”) Sniffen have a “falling out”? The Facebook “Rewound Radio” posts offered no “credible” info–just “speculation”.

I was curious when Jon’s scoped version of the 7/9 show ended with “The Last Time” from the Stones. He usually wraps up the aircheck after a line or two, but he let it go on a bit longer to include that hook. Hmm!

I suspect that the reason there was no show on Sunday the 16th was because of a power outage caused by rolling storms, as said in some comments posted by Roger Davis on Rewound’s Facebook page.

FYI, the comments on Rewound’s page looked like these:
“I see there are some power outages in Dallas and a storm moving through. Maybe the jingle palace has no power?” (comment posted by Roger Davis)

“Oh no. I hope Jon and The Palace are OK.” (John Allen’s reply to the comment posted by Roger Davis)
