Agreed, but we were at the mercy of Zoom audio. John was speaking from home, not a studio, so there wasn’t much we could do. But that’s also one of the reasons I inserted a good bit of our 1993 studio interview, which was good quality. Thanks for listening.

Unfortunately I don’t get the opportunity to “listen live” or able to get the time to listen even to the edited version.

I’m sure there’s been LOTS of topics I would have very much liked to listen to but missed.

One thing I must admit would help, would be if GW could add a few words in the post of a brief summary of what the
“jingle topics” of the edited programme have been, so that anyone would know if there’s a subject(s) that week they would
definately want download and to make time to listen to later.

Like yourself, I generally don’t get to listen to the show live, but download the show, add it to my sports watch playlist and then listen to the show over the week when I’m out on my daily runs.

Good idea about the topics; something like this perhaps would be good:

• 02 May 2021 – WLS Chicago, Special Guest – John Gehron
• 09 May 2021 – Ron Chapman Tribute , KVIL
• 16 May 2021 – Now You’re Talkin’, Y-100
• 23 May 2021 – Frequency Sweep, Songs from JAM Demos Through The Years
• 6 June 2021 – Making of a Jingle (KOST #120 – aka “The Coast Experience” #09)
• 13 June 2021 – WYRE Retrospective

In the absence of this information on here, I would suggest you go to the Rewound Facebook page and look at the post relating to each week’s show. If you read through the listener comments/reactions, you’ll generally get an idea of what jingle topics have been covered.
