As a ‘user’ of mainly PAMS classics since we placed our first order for re-sings back in the CPMG days, I try to educate my fellow radio pals about the numbered series jingles that still fuel my radio programming. I caught up with JW’s shows thanks in part to gameswizard’s uploads. I have edited the first two WABC jingle retrospectives Jon did, down to one long seg… 2 hours and 19 minutes worth of jingles and jingle history. The Rewound show from 29th December 2019 was mostly about taking requests and playing music from the “Top 77” list. It was great fun for 4.5 hours! However, there were some jingle/radio moments in the show too. So this ‘scoped aircheck does not include many of the purely DJ breaks, but it will hopefully give you the flavor of the show and let you hear the sections I assume will be of interest.
