      Hi All,
I’m in the middle of downsizing to a flat and whilst clearing out the loft discovered load of Mini Discs (34) full of Jingles..
No longer any good to me as I don’t have a Mini Disc player and I think I copied all the good stuff to PC years ago!
I’m selling them on eBay for £25 the lot including free P&P UK only but will list them open to international buyers and eBay take control of the Postage charges)

I donated my Sony MD machine to a fellow collector just a few months ago, so there’s at least one JMer
out there” who I’m sure will be interested!!!

At least one MD there with my handwriting on Pete, plus several from the collection of the late David Barras.

I expect so also Nicky Schiller and many others who used to be Jingle Swappers back in the early part of the 21st Century during the MD revolution!
I’ve even binned a handful of reel tapes/boxes of mine from EAP and ALFASOUND..Which are no use to me anymore in my twilight years! :'(
I’ve also got most of my Music CD’s on there as well (5 Bundles of 50!)

Yes, MiniDisc 29 is from Nicky Schiller and includes some of his JAM jingles!

Don’t recognise any of my MDs there. We were more the Cassette Generation! I’ve still got all my cassettes from the mid ’80s onwards.

Apart from things I’ve already digitized, still got boxes full, especially 1980s/90s airchecks I’d made in all sorts of places.

Was slowly working through them, until the old Sony mini-hi-fi packed in a few months ago.
Fortunately recently got a JVC one for £35 from the Heart Foundation shop, so just need some rainy days to re-start the sweepup!

Yes, I’m doing the same with my cassettes (dating back to the 1970’s) But it’s a case of editing them as well as cassette recording levels are all over over the place and the gaps…….. :D
I bought a Sony TX313 off of eBay that I plug straight into my PC
I love Adobe Audition (way back from when it was Cool Edit!) <3

Ahhh…what would we have done without the “legendary” Peter Quisgard… o:)

I was just telling a colleague about the legendary Peter Quistgard yesterday, when someone was having trouble licensing Audition through the IT dept.

My first copy of Cool Edit was from a CD that was sellotaped to a computer mag !

I now have Audition 3.0 running happily in Windows 11 Pro – I really do use it every day.

Dubbed all my cassettes years ago and binned them – very satisfying. I edited out all of the music and gaps, as Pete mentions above and just kept the ‘scoped airchecks and the odds and sods of rolling tape throughout my youth.

I still keep a Denon DN-991R to play the occasional MiniDisc.

                          Happy days….
