Hello, it’s Tiger here with some cool jingles collection from my hometown country, Indonesia.
Now, during the ‘rona season, I’ve managed to compile some very good jingles of local radio stations old and new.

And in December, I managed to collect one from one of my favorite station, KLCBS.

KLCBS is one of the first radio station in Bandung to carry the smooth jazz format, and has been operating since 1982.
And they still play some of the old jingles from TM and JAM as of today.

But, that’s not all. a lot of station here used JAM since the late 80s to the 90s.
One of them was Prambors Jakarta which uses JAM jingles in the 90s.

Funnily enough, they did pronounce some of the cities correctly and phonetically, as with the case with most of the JAM jingles that were once aired on radio stations in Indonesia back then.

I’ll update this post later, so do enjoy this compilation as a gift from me to everyone at JingleMad.
(p.s. I also heard one jingle from a Surabaya radio station on JM Radio, too, which was interesting to hear.)

The only Indonesian jingles I’ve heard before were for Hard Rock FM (Jam, around 1994). I was lucky enough to be sent a demo cassette (remember them?) by the Engineer who’d recorded them, before the package was released. Can’t think of any resings I’ve ever heard of those. An excellent package.

I don’t think the Hard Rock FM package from JAM was ever been demoed or re-singed for US/UK stations, but if they did, that would be cool to hear. This was the first and only time a radio station in Indonesia to get a custom jingle package from JAM.

                  No problem. ^^

As of today, we do still have radio stations here playing jingles from JAM.
I still can hear some cuts of the Skytrax and Kool 105 package on Rase FM and at least one cut from one of the Magic Music packages on KLCBS, but there was one part that was cut due to the frequency changes that occurred in 2004.

For the rest of the stations tho, thanks to JMR, I was able to recognise one particular package used by 107.1 K-Lite, and that’s the BBC Radio Northampton package from Bespoke Music. B-Radio and OZ Radio also used some jingles from Bespoke Music, too. The most common nowadays are Reelworld jingles as heard on 93.7 Paramuda FM, 105.9 Ardan FM (as of 2005, apparently as they previously used jingles from TM, but now a Reelworld veteran), 106.3 Urban FM (as of last year using the KIIS 2020 package) and 107.5 PRFM (uses the CHQR package since its launch in 2009).

Surprisingly, in some of these jingles played on my local radio stations, they do pronounce the city sing correctly (ban↗dhung↘ with a thick D).

I could give you examples, but later on when I do have the time.

                    Interesting, thanks for the information
