I am not British at all, but I have heard some British jingles that may have been Alfasound(-Tapetrix); they date back to the late 70s, and I heard them in some Michael Neff (U.S. jingle collector who made samplers that made the rounds of collectors and stations in the 70s). One of them was a sonovox cut for Radio Victory (with a very different melody than the Victory cuts I’ve heard online), and a Piccadilly 1152 jingle that goes “One of the nicer things about winter…”

Does anybody know about these jingles, and/or know who made them?

Mike is alive and well and still working in radio. However, he no longer collects jingles and gave away his reels to another collector years ago.
