        Er…Lou…

JingleMad is a United Kingdom-based website, but with Members from all around the world, from places as far apart as New Zealand to Newfoundland and all sorts of places in between, and including many like yourself in the USA…

I'm assuming by ZNS 810 you mean ZNS in the Bahamas? – however, we don't know where you yourself are actually located, and of course we can't all receive the stations that you are able to receive wherever it is you live, if thats Florida.

If you have a radio-recorder of some kind, it would be great to hear actual on-air samples of what you're hearing, that way I'm sure JM'ers would be more able to identify items for you such as the one you've described in words above!
        :^)

I was driving in the car with out anything to record, just tuning around. Water path has always been something that occurs in Florida..in the summer you get great FM skip. A dx-er's paradise.
Just wondering if anyone knew or had heard of a package that these folks might use.
If not no big deal. Just found it very interesting to hear a long jingle from the Bahamas..

Lou has a good point there about AM-band (medium wave to us in the UK etc) that water-path can extend a transmission range, especially by day.
Some of the old UK pirate ships chose their moorings for just that reason, since they had to operate from outside territorial waters but still had to get signal into major population areas – e.g. the old Radio Scotland was a long way out in the Firth of Forth even from Edinburgh but used a near straight line path to not only get a strong signal there but much further west towards Glasgow and the surrounding conurbations.
