This question has been asked before & it was impossible to answer then as Radio 1 had so many excerllent jingles produced.

This was always one of my long time favourites , probably because I spent years trying to record or find a clear copy of it! I still think it's a perfect jingle.

              I agree completely…

I think that package, Naturally, was inspired by Joni Mitchell, and that late 60's acoustic sound in the States?

This particular cut 'inspired' one in our 'Summer of 81' package for Radio Trent… (Trent 2)

'You Kind of Music, All Summer Longggg, Radio Trent, And You..' That was sung by Allistair Gordon, and the late Melanie Fawkes.

I wonder WHO the (great) soloists are on this cut? that is a TOUGH one as it was even before a very young Jon Wolfert was at PAMS !?

                Very difficult choice indeed.

I find that I cannot pick just one from any of the production companies that have dished out jingles for them
(Even the Pepper Tanner or Audio Producer ones).
Even if I narrowed it down to just JAM alone it would be a toss up between the packages produced during the nineties.

So do we all have a shot at a “Radio One Top Ten
                  montage then?!!! :)
