Hi Alan, although they're not from 1949 but they start from 1952 and end with 1970.

A very busy week so I haven't had a chance, until now, to really listen to the various replies to my post. Can I thank everyone who posted – it's quite fascinating listening to the variety of jingles on offer for what is a relatively simple task. I must admit that listening to the straight accapellas they sounded relatively uninspired compared to some of the others.
I was most taken with the jingles posted by crp (55-70.mp3). I presume this was a compilation you put together from a number of sources? Splitting them up I could detect about 6 different styles.
My favourite was what I've called 1964-6.mp3. I also liked the “robotic” style of 1955-1.mp3 and also the sung 1960-2.mp3.
Would it be possible to have complete sets of these from 1950 through to 1970 please?
I'm making compilation oldies CDs for myself and rather than just have the tracks, I wanted to spice things up by having some nice sounding jingles! Sad, I know… but what can you do when you're a hardcore anorak!

MemberAlan, there's actually a number of us here who make up similar oldies compilations (as an alternative to
e.g. in-car listening to “Today's Load of Auditorium-Teeeested (Ha!) Repetitive Gunge Mix” on actual stations.I'll contact you directly by email and see if there's some items here that I can give you directly in full
WAV quality rather than re-heats. (Give me an hour or two to track down a few CDs)!August 14, 2008 at 11:08 pm #61166voxlegends
does anyone have from 1980 – 1989 by chance? thanks!

MemberMany of the “years…” etc in general that get posted on Collector Sites are are clipped,
or in low quality, as in possibly extracted from demos or montages, and some are really
just voiced sweepers. There ARE excellent quality sung year cuts out there, as group or sonovox vocals etc.
They can even be purchased – legally – for non-broadcast use or by Collectors ;^)August 15, 2008 at 11:52 am #61176IainJohnston

Days, Years, Numbers – shouts and acappellas along with hundreds of other generic elements can be purchased through iJingles “legally” in full studio quality on CD. MemberWell Sean, I didn't really mean it as a “plug“!
I was thinking of several “something elses” in my collection – but why not? Many people only think of iJingles (“other economy jingle services are available”) for
re-sung-to-order material, whereas with the possible exception of JAM, many companies do indeed offer
access to huge libraries of “generic” or “pre-record” goodies, and at reasonable prices for non-broadcast
usage customers.(er…do I get a “discount voucher” for that Sean? ;^) …ducks…)
