WPEN: NEW JAM JINGLES

      WPEN 950AM, Philadelphia, has switched back to an oldies format, presumably to take on WGOL (formerly WCAU-FM). They’re using some of the original Back Seat Music JAM cuts (one of JAM’s earliest packages, I think), plus re-sings of JAM cuts last heard in Philadelphia in the eighties on Z106 (Hot KIIS, I think). Here’s a station promo and a couple of the new cuts …

        If only we had oldies stations in the UK like WPEN Philadelphia………and if only we had stations in the UK using great JAM jingles like the one`s used by WPEN (ahh well – I keep dreaming) – thanks for posting these – nice mix !
