All Access reports today (4/21) that Now 97.5 in Philadelphia has transitioned to Hot AC. I listened for a while on the stream today, and they have added jingles…they're obviously RW, but I can't quite tell which package it is. Ideas?

No idea, but I imagine that “Now” shout would get on your nerves after a few links. Thanks for posting them though.

I have no idea who did these jingles, but they are awful. Guess I'm in the past with companies like drake, pams, jam. Where the singers had talent.

It's WLIT '07 with the WJXA (Mix 92.9) logo

Yes, it's vary creative of ReelWorld to produce a package with another logo and lots of “Now!” shouts to, vary creative!

I'm sure other Now! stations will get their jingles done the same way, but with another package.

I think Geoff's hit this nail right on the head!

The little I've heard of airchecks of “Fresh” and “Now” seemed to “burn out” these “insert-shouts” (hard or “whisper”) literally hearing them half-a-dozen times
(unless of course the “consultants” think that this “is subliminally building the brand conception awareness in the audience“!).

In the past, many US stations would consider replacing their entire “traditional” (and expensive) packages annually (and even down to 9-month intervals) because they could “burn out” and become stale to their listeners in that time.

(Any other comments, I leave to others…(e.g. Radio Two jingle enthusiasts!)
