I noticed that on airchecks from WNBC (This one in particular: https://youtu.be/NAAObdsbGAE?t=61) that you can hear the famous NBC chimes but on the JAM website the chimes are not on that particular cut. There are a few other jingles that had the chimes played on the air but not on the JAM website. Is there a reason for this? I also discovered an alternate TOH jingle from The Nothing But Class package but it is not listed on the JAM website. https://voca.ro/11tHFq7XOatx

Different cuts from many JAM packages often have alternate mixes that don’t make it into the demo. The alternate TOH jingle you found is souped-up “orphan” cut that was left out of the Nothing But Class demo.

I have the orfen in question on a file called “NBC 2,” originally from a tape containing several JAM demos including another relatively obscure JAM package, “Have We Got A Time For You” for WCAU-Am Philadelphia. That orphan TOH appear on NBC 2, along with what I assume are the original air mixes for cuts which later appeared on The Only One with a different vocal group (Jackie Dixon is singing lead/1st soprano on the NBC 2 versions, while I believe Abby Holmes is singing lead/1st soprano on the versions featured in The Only One).
