The FM Classic Hits station did, yes.

            Here’s the demo page: https://tmstudios.com/jingles/wls-classic-hits/

And some examples recorded off air: https://soundcloud.com/kcmike/wls-fm-chicago-tm-studios-new-jingles-march-2023

I think they sound pretty good, though they definitely aren’t your father’s WLS jingles.

The FM Classic Hits station hadn’t been using jingles at all for the last few years. The AM talk station has been with TM for a while.

So far, this is my new favourite TM package for the Classic Hits format, bar none. This will also go well for the new breed of local radio stations in the UK. (maybe. :/ )

It sounds like one girl and autotune, mostly, but since I have seen some TM videos of late, it is actually two girls and a guy. Not to disparage the talent and work of people making these, it is what programmers want, or maybe they are free. The sound is thin and they must not want many male voices. I can’t tell if they are using the 5 note WLS logo melody note for note… (wonder who owns it if anyone?)
At least they are using jingles, prior to this it was liners of people in the street shouting things about the station.

That’s definitely the usual “WLS” logo melody.

Maybe I’m crazy, but I feel like I detect a slight hint of PAMS Solid Rock in the way the singers enunciate the call letters.

Me personally, I can’t stand this shrill and piercing voice that is prominent at the L of WLS. Same voice that is prominent at the end of the remastered Southern California’s KISS demo singing LEEES (Los AngeLEEEES), I guess. Gives me the shivers.

                        “Solid Rock”
                        Spotted that too!
Just but without quite the depth of vocal texture.

Still, any station getting back into sung IDs after a desert of chopped-up wordy stuff has to be welcomed!

Now if TM can reunite with WBBM-FM A.K.A. B96, then Chicago can have a classic CHR battle again!
