      It was Beacon two as far as I remember –

        Beacon 2 for sure. 1987 was when the “latest hits greatest memories” strapline was introduced. Beacon 3 came one year later in 1988 followed by JAM Turbo Z.

          You are forgetting the US resings of Beacon 2 which came after Beacon 3 but before Beacon 4 (Turbo z ) – The best resings of that package and better than the z100 versions

            Not all of Beacon 2 was resung in Beacon 4. The Newsday and Newsnight ones weren't done as those segments had been dropped by 1989.
