Apparently the “real” version of events is in this weeks Radio Magazine.

And you missed one of the highlights by going to Pizza Hut …. me and Hirsty singing the entire lyrics of the Jam Song in the George on Mortimer Street !!!!

Mind you , I think the lager and red wine had got to us by then ! Full marks to Hirsty , by the way – he went straight from there back onto the last train to Leeds ,had about 2 hours on the sofa at Galaxy and then went on air for 4 hours !!! Now that is dedication !

Anybody think that we should do this regardless of the Radio Academy and have a regular evening with people like that , somewhere between London and The North (Birmingham?) ? I’ve sussed Steve England out , along with Howard Hughes , who I’m sure would be up for it . Also ,it would give Muff Murfin the chance to take on Tony Blackburn . I think 2 falls , 2 submissions or a technical KO would settle it !

Erm, no – its his job and he’s too scared to take a holiday!!!

But yes – a bi-yearly jingle fest could be a brill idea!

Big respect to you Hirsty for your comments in your X TRAX interview about girls and jingles!

I’m glad to say my other half wasn’t too bored at the event! The shopping on Oxford Street the next day kinda made up for it anyway!
