Over the summer, I began listening to WGN when Rollye James started her stint to (originally) fill in for a while, which seems to have become an ongoing gig for her. I noticed over the past few months more & more of these jingles were being rolled out, & they’ve made the station more enjoyable to listen to.

That sounds like Variety Pack Cut 9 with the VOA Europe instrumental logo. A lot of the cuts in Variety Pack were originally written for VOA Europe, and cut 9 appears to be one of them.

Interesting… thanks for identifying that cut! It sounded like it would be from Variety Pack but I couldn’t find an exact match. It makes sense now that I know there have been multiple mixes done!

It is good to hear! Does anyone have any airchecks of jingles from Top News, Talking Points, or Talktrax actually being used on WABC back in the early 2000’s around the time they were being produced?
