One station has had a few of the custom CBS-FM cuts re-sung already.

102.7 WQSR are using Presenter IDs, TOTH ID and an Acapella from the CBS-FM package, along side TGP’s Super Hits package.

You can hear an example of the WQSR Presenter ID here…………….

It would be great if someone could post the audio of the TOTH ID – I would love to see what we have coming to us in NYC — CBS-FM is still using their old TOTH ID. THANKS!!!

Here’s the 102.7 WQSR TOTH ID as requested….

Does anybody know if JAM are planing to post a demo of the WCBS-FM ’04 custom?

Even more than that, will there be any more new JAM cuts for CBS-FM now that they play the “Greatest Hits of all Time” and not the “Greatest Hits of the 60s and 70s?” Plus, Joe McCoy is not there at 101.1 anymore, so you don’t know what kind of jingles Dave Logan may want for the station. But, hopefully, more new JAM cuts are on the way for the new CBS-FM. That’s the way it should be…

NOT A SINGLE THING!!! Something definitely needs to be done… shotguns don’t cut it for CBS-FM. They need more than just 3 “Full Cut” jingles!

I lied! A day after I posted that, I heard a new shotgun (An OLD one from a PAMS WABC package, I think — one used on NJ 101.5.) This morning, I heard a new cut from “Positron” on Mike Fitzgerald’s show. It was the fast to slow transition with the lyrics “101.1 CBS-FM.” So, if hear some new stuff, I’ll keep you guys informed.

Have any more new CBS-FM cuts from JAM aired yet?

Not really. There is just a new shotgun. The other new thing is that since September, I would guess, CBS-FM has been airing the top of the hour from their custom (the one that WQSR used when it was airing CBS-FM’s JAM custom). The lyrics are 101.1 WCBS-FM New York. Other than that, everything is the same. In fact, the only JAM customs from 2004 that are being used are the jock cuts and a cut with the lyrics “The Greatest Hits” CBS-FM. Unfortunately, shotguns have taken over what was once a great jingle “library” from CBS-FM. It’s a shame — those customs from JAM were excellent.

                      Thanks for the update….

I wonder if any other US stations bought the WCBS / WQSR package from JAM?

I have just re-done all of the links for the samples of the new JAM IDs in this topic :)

                        Enjoy!
