No one has mentioned this yet so thought I would.
http://radiotoday.co.uk/2015/02/new-jingle-package-for-utv-radio-stations/
A new package of jingles has been created by Sandy Beech and Dave Bethell for the UTV Radio network of stations.
Based around a new slogan of ‘I love this station’ and a five note logo, the audio removes the previous strapline of Today’s Best Mix and was produced in Cyprus, London and Los Angeles.
Group Programme Director for UTV, Terry Underhill told RadioToday: “Every station tries to come up with a strapline that encapsulates its feel and sound, but we wanted something much more and we’re delighted with the ‘I Love This Station’ concept which reflects the views of many of our loyal listeners.
Well, they’ve gone for a slogan and there not a combination of music, best, variety or todays in sight!!!
It’s different what do people think of the “I love this station” strapline?
Stations always have a We are or We do imaging line – interesting to see a listeners spin in terms of statement.February 13, 2015 at 6:21 pm #97125bobgreenradioMemberyou know something? really nice. easy to work with and bounce along nicely

February 15, 2015 at 3:19 am #97141simon_t123Membertotally with michi here great imaging, great slogan … all about the emotion ! I wonder if “I can’t stand this station, I can’t stand Heart’ would ever grace the airwaves in all seriousness mind Global were the group to bring in “This Is” to sing the virtues of a brand & that seems to sound right for Heart as it did for Gold also … it’s good to hear something different with this UTV package, I just hope they don’t sell their stations too quickly & make this a short run of good jingles or even worse hasten the demise of some heritage names from within their group, as listeners might well love their stations but that’s no good when they’ve become a Heart or a Capital

“We Love The Oldies”!!
February 15, 2015 at 11:33 am #97144Sean MartinMember“I love this station” works well and is actually something worth singing about. It’s emotional, evocative and memorable, with some excellent vocalists.
Good work.February 15, 2015 at 11:44 am #97147AndyWMemberIt does suffer a bit when it’s been made for two or three syllable names, Pulse 1, Radio Wave, Signal 1, Tower FM, Wyre FM. They work but then they somehow have to cram in Signal 107 and for me it doesn’t. Not a fan of the female solo vocal either. They do sound better than the first cuts I heard.

Even my station’s slogan “J1 Loves Japan, J1 Loves You” still refers to what the station “likes” (we love our listeners as much as we love Japan).. On the recent J1 cuts (the KZZP custom and the upcoming Big Time Radio cut), we re-connect with the listener to remind them that the station loves them and appreciates them. We even sing it in two languages (あなたが好き/anata ga suki) to make sure as many of our listeners get the connection. I know this sounds very Series 25 (or “You” package) of me.. but the slogan should connect with the listener. “I love this station..” does that and then some.
