In my opinion stations that are in same group should have and use the same station imaging.. for example capital radio group used the music 4 stuff group wide as did TLRC.
And they all have the same style websites

But the UK RD Group,(http://www.ukrd.com) which own STAR Radio stations, Star Radio Weston Super Mare, Camebridge, Bristol, all have different imaging, they use diffeent pieces for news and travel Star 1077 seem to change it each month. They all have IQ Beats resings of Heart 106.2 and used the elements until last Summer 07.

I think that stations should use the same imaging, as you get 'The Station Sound' and it sounds much nicer

All STAR Radio Stations all have different websites, designed by different people, and it all just looks and sounds a bit tacky to me.

Plus they never have the same type of on air across the station, for example on Star Radio Bristol now, they have a recorded show and on Weston Super Mare they have 'Ash in the afternoon' who sounds about 15.

They dumped a perfectly good JAM package which has ended up being the demo “…and now”,and even now,I can't understand why it never was used.

I cant say I would miss those, Im not really a Jam fan, they should have used IQ Beats Group Wide and kept them, and stopped putting bits of production music here and there for news and travel and that, as it all just sounds a mess

Hi BigDave, so the And Now package was originally the UKRD package. Noticed that were some cuts in the UKRD package that weren't included in the And Now package.

The UKRD version also used plenty of solos. It's a mystery why they never used it.
