Yes sir, the JAM video vault is equally as good as the JAM vault !
I`ll never forget that day when myself, Neal Bowden and Jeffrey T.Mason visted with you at JAM in October 2004 and part of the day, we sat in the JAM control room watching your TV spots and other JAM related video, fantastic…
Here we are, four years later and I`m watching the TV Spots again by JAM and thoroughly enjoying them.
Thanks for taking the time Jon to upload these JAM treasures to the internet, it`s much appreciated.
Yours Truly (!)

Thanks Jonathan for uploading these little pieces of JAM and American Radio History.
The clips show us how varied JAM's work is,and the way it can be used – more than an on-air imaging tool, but to sell the station to a different market.
Your kindness is respected by us all!

Such NICE work Jon. Thanks so much for sharing this. I love the KDWB spot in particular. A terrific TV piece to coincide with the radio campaign. Makes you feel good just to watch it. Too bad radio doesn't make many people feel that way anymore. It used to make EVERYONE feel good. Those WERE the days. Great work Jon. JAM is the best.

Some fantastic bits of video, thanks for putting that together Jonathan. I particularly liked the KDWB and WCAU FM spots.

MemberAuthorGlad to see that everyone's enjoying the videos (despite the recent horrible YouTube audio, which many are upset about). Thanks for the comments, I appreciate them. Now then, on to the trivia:
Can anyone spot the obvious mistake in the very first WABC commercial? Clues: it's in the video, not the audio, and you might need to be a fellow New Yorker to spot it.

Is it at 0.38 when Ross & Wilson are walking? When they are walking TOWARDS the camera they are walking away from Times Square. In the next shot when they are walking AWAY from the camera they are walking TOWARDS Times Square?

Well, it has been several weeks since I asked the question, and there has only been one contestant with the (buzzzzzz) wrong answer. So to resolve this, here it is…
In the opening scene of that first WABC spot, you hear the voice-over (Dan Ingram) say “New York's found a new way to wake up…” with a lovely aerial scene of the sun sitting just above the horizon, peeking through the World Trade Center towers (weep). Except… in the foreground we see the East River, which means we're looking west toward New Jersey. The scene is a sunSET, not a sunRISE. (My appologies to friends in New Jersey who believe the sun rises and sets around their state. I suppose it does… just not from this angle!)
