Triton Radio Networks has struck a deal to buy Jones Media Group, which includes Jones Media America, Jones Radio Networks and JonesTM. Jones Media America will combine with Dial Global under David Landau and Ken Williams. Jones 24/7 format business will operate alongside Dial Global's existing 24/7 business. Triton is backed by Oaktree Capital, which has been increasing its radio platform in recent months.

… it is ALL $£$£$£$ and Business nowadays….

… but how nice that Tom Merriman's initials keep that TM 'name' with us….

Tom's 'way' with strings brass vocals and sheer CLASS in jingle writing is timeless….

One of my favourite recent packages is the JAM NewTalks WABC which Tom worked on…. it's SUPERB

Ironically… although we recorded for Trent and GEM in the TM studios we never had a TM package as such… and Tom and Jackie were wonderful hosts.. I often stayed with them when we were recording at JAM..

the people in Dallas are special…. and Jackie's voice is the BEST!
