My local station Trax FM and all the Links group use Steve England/S2Blue Link Up Package, however over the last couple of weeks I have been hearing a new jingle that sounds like Bespoke Music Company/Devaweb, has any one got the new jingle? I did email Trax and they said that they have some new jingles, only a few but not replacing them all, it sounds odd though as they now have 2 difference imaging packs and the are not that similar.
Thanks for any info on this,
Ian
July 22, 2007 at 11:28 pm #31554whisperWill have to have a listen to this, I live in Bawtry now. In my opinion this Doncaster station is the best in this group. When Lincs FM started in 1992 it was ts pretty damm good, it stood out from all the rest, lots of American stuff, lost 45s, new releases etc. Had a girlfriend in up Halifax which is miles away, and she loved it, despite the Pulses and Aires. Until one day we went to Nottingham shopping and put Trent FM on, have got to say that blew us away big time. Dont know what it was, or who ran it back then, but that station was like nothing else anywhere –Awesome!!. (shes my best mate now.) Would love to see Lincs staions speed up the pace, and maybe buy sung jingles, from JAM Productions at Dallas USA , or a half dozen or so different packages from that TM Studio Dragonfly. Ok its not cheap, but would it be a breath of fresh air or not!! Its not rocket science, but you get what you pay for.

July 24, 2007 at 8:57 pm #31568ianwardThanks for that little Gem, I have to say that I think the Steve England package the Lincs group use is DIRE, awful (IMO), some cuts even sound out of tune, come abck PAMS/JAMS all is forgiven! They had some excellent jingles when Trax first started. That's why I was interested in their 'new' jingles.

December 2, 2007 at 6:56 pm #54780ianwardThey had a new, what seems to be a one off jingle as it was a totally different style, the Jingle was sung by a lady called Lynn Ritchie and she can be heard on the Bespoke Music Company jingles, this one off jingle was far better than the Lincs Group general package but they have not stopped playing the new jingle so don't know what happend with that but to my best of knowledge they haven't got a new Travel Jingle, can you post an example of your work, i.e voice so I can listen out for you? Did you do the voice for all the Lincs stations or just Trax?
