Just listened to a 3 CD tribute to 30 years of Top Format. Some great archive material on the discs as well as telling the Top Format story. Lots of us focus on the US and UK when it comes to jingles but it’s Top Format that is huge across much of Europe either with their own material or re-sings from some of the top companies inc JAM, Music4, Wise Buddah, IQ etc.

“We didn’t want to print a normal demo cd for this years NAB, so we
created a LP. On the A-side is a funcky disco mix with good old disco
songs and acapellas mixed by DJ Silverius. On the B-side a
“needle-stream Non-Stop Jingle express Tour”!”

That should be interesting to hear…

Did you get your copy through the Bastamusic link Nicky posted, Dave? If I’m not lucky enough to win a copy in Paul’s competition (fingers crossed!) I’ll definitely be buying a copy, just a little hesitant of buying from a site I’ve never heard of before.
