      Here’s a quick collection of Toby Arnold jingles from around 1979 from 2 Philadelphia stations. WFIL was the dominant top 40 station (until FM beecame dominant in the early 80s) and WUSL was in competition with WMGK (it lost!). It called itself US1 after the main highway through Philadelphia – glamorous, eh? I’ve cut togeether the main cuts from the two stations. You’ll see that they aren’t the most imaginative lyrics, but the harmonies are great.
