Thanks for Posting David, I have not heard some of the cuts for years
when Thompson 1st started they had some great packages “Europower” later re-named to “Ultrapower” and a unique package at the time called Tropical PunchI am not sure if they have produced anything new in years when I last checked the Thompson website the “Latest Packages” section the newest package was produced in 2004 ! along with some KONO packages which are even older !

MemberGreat montage Dave, love it. Like you, I also like their stuff, although it never seemed to be as big in the UK as it could have been.
Useless fact, jingle lovers… I live one road away from Thompson Creative… in fact, when I was flat-hunting, I was lost in this part of time. I pulled off the road to check my map, looked up, and realised I was in Thompson’s car park! Unfortunately I’ve not been able to pop in and say hi as I’m normally at work when they are.
Anyway, we’re both in the Uptown part of Dallas TX, so if you’re doing an anorak tour of the area, let me know and I’ll put the kettle on.

Guess who has a photo of that car-park ! 😉
Think of all those great jingles that have emanated from Insurance Lane, jingle companies including Sundance, JAM, Thompson Creative and that mattress firm too !

Superb montage! I see I really do like the Thompson sound, when it stays at Thompson.
Can you, some fine day, do a TM montage?

david, thanks for that thompson montage, well i can say that im a big fan of TC just as i am of Jam! There was some point that thompson creative sounded between like Jam and TM Century i was referring to the vocal sound of their packages. I particularly love the Crescent City Magic package which i think sounds close to TM but a little JAM-mish in there also.
But i believe TC also employs same singers from Jam and TM, did they?
Thompson is also a big player in the jingle biz, so i think they deserve to have extra space here at Jinglemad, to Larry and Susan, here’s for the next jingle package.

Thanks for all your positive comments guys about the TC montage, it was good fun putting that montage together, a wealth of material to choose from. The WOMX Orlando T-O-H remains my personal favourite.

Cool montage, Barras!!! Thompson Creative really one of the great jingle company in the planet… their jingles really cool and one of the most listened to in the 90’s.. What happen with them today? no newest jingle packages?

Was talking about Thompson with a couple of our esteemed members yesterday…
We all came round to the same question though..WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THOMPSON CREATIVE?
. The last stuff I can remember them doing for British stations was Amber Radio and Clyde Magic, but that was the best part of 6 years ago plus.
Is Dave Langer still representing them?

To BigDave (and everyone else reading this)
just heard from Larry in Dallas and he tells me his company has been concentrating on the TKO Radio Network. They now have 150 radio station affiliates around the USA on their “Hall Of Fame Coast To Coast” oldies show hosted by Truckin` Tom Kent.
Larry also told me to expect “new” jingles very soon.
