You’ve GOT to hear this funky 80s style jingle song I recorded over the air from WNIR-FM 100.1 Akron, Ohio today. This 4200 Watt/394 foot (120 meters) signal today in Ridgway, PA. I am 139 miles (224km) away, using a modified Sony XDRF1HD, Kathrein Scala YA7 5 element yagi and Zoom H1 digital recorder fed via RCA audio output of the radio to line in of the recorder.

The WNIR signal was blasting in over 100.1 The Hero WBRR Bradford, PA 1650 Watts/650 feet (160 meters), at 39 miles(63km)away from me.

      I LOVE the jingle song!!

Love this, it’s TM’s “Spirit of Texas” by Jim Kirk; originally produced for WFAA-TV in Dallas/Fort Worth.

            Nice!

I miss hearing image songs like this on both radio and TV…

My version is fairly clean, but I didn’t do too bad for a 4200 Watt FM signal 139 miles away considering :)

Yeah, it was definitely a good recording. Just figured I’d put the YT copy out there. I did mention that you airchecked it in 2018 which is just awesome.
