These days, the whole world seems to be obsessed with AI. Social media, video games, chat bots, and even voiceovers! As it assists in our day-to-day lives, the list is almost endless.
Now, we’re seeing a surge in AI induced jingles. Granted, we have trialled it and have been moderately impressed by the results.
However, if you’re thinking about utilising this technology for your own production, there are a few areas that need to be considered. To get that polished, ready-to-air final product, a seasoned vocal arranger is required to breakdown and reconstruct each vocal part for your jingle – it’s not as simple as just singing along to the melody. For example, much of our back catalogue was not designed for use with one solo voice. You also need at least one talented vocalist to replicate each of these vocal parts in order to be able to manipulate them with AI.
Our opinion? We still believe that by far the best, most authentic results are achieved with a real, live vocal group that sing together on each and every one of our jingles. Our singers have been heard on thousands of jingles that you know and love, all over the world!
AI is cool, but listen to our latest vocal demo and imagine AI ever being able to generate that result 😉
May 26, 2024 at 7:08 pm #110246mjb1124MemberExcellent demo! And I’m definitely skeptical about what AI can do for jingles. I suppose it would be easy enough to recreate some of the vocals heard on modern CHR packages (they sound very heavily processed and autotuned anyhow), but I imagine a full group sound would be very hard to pull off.
May 26, 2024 at 8:26 pm #110247Jingle WorksMemberAuthorThank you! 😊
It is possible to achieve a group sound with AI. However, as explained above, you still need to musically arrange and sing each of the vocal parts; you can then convert each “strip” to an AI voice. We have done this and achieved mixed results.
Our favourite is, and always will be, a real vocal group.

June 2, 2024 at 1:07 pm #110269btthevoiceMemberI seem to have started a little stir by posting my AI created jingles.
By no means was my intent or dream to ever put jingle companies out of business. That’s happening on its own just because the demand has diminished so much due to radio stations not being as prominent in the daily lives of people anymore.
Right now I see an opportunity for myself and others to use ai and get a little creative and offer reasonable jingles to online stations who couldn’t even come close to affording station jingles by actual singers and orchestration. I can crank them out for $25 to $50 each. You can’t even get a singer to think about doing it for that much money.
So while the window of opportunity exists, I’ll take advantage of it.
I did voiceovers for better than 55 years, and now I’m completely replaced. So I know how all this is going… Look what’s happened in one year. 5 years from now jingles will sound every bit as good as actual produced ones…. Produced by AIJune 2, 2024 at 1:55 pm #110270btthevoiceMemberhavin’ fun

I’m sorry, I think you may be confused. This post is by no means related to anything that you have posted, quite simply because I had not seen/heard it. However, looking at your profile, I see your post and this thread was created before your own announcement 😊
Nobody is being put “out of business” here – this is related to our own experimentations with AI to test whether we’d be happy to take advantage of it.

So, you’re saying you see an opportunity to make a few $$$ by selling these? They’re bloody awful and sound robotic …
