      Hi, am I having false-memory syndrome? Was there a jingle or pastiche that included the above lyric, based on a Frankie Valli song, circa 1980. Please put me out of my misery with confirmation of who did it, and for which station.

        There was a jingle on Sheffield’s Radio Hallam called The closest thing to heaven. It was recorded by a guy called Simon May.
