I think it depends on the size and qaulity of your collection as to what your attitude is to collecting.
While I agree with Tracy’s sentiments, I’m pretty sure his opinion would be different if he only had a few items in his collection, and not the entire TM back catalogue masters

Sayin that, does anyone wanna buy a copy of my Nile FM Reelworld master? I’ll even throw in the Channel 4FM package. Both are resings of Z100 2003. $150.
Hey, I’m kidding, ok?!
Neal
I totally agree with Mr. B here, the copyright belongs to the producer and the licensing of that jingle or jingles belongs to the radio station – so it is not right to sell onto other people, unless there are other circumstances.
I have collected jingles for almost seventeen years and I have only paid for jingles from the jingle producers. If someone wants a jingle package from me, then I would swap – not sell.
…and Mr.B – How about a CD or two of the Nile stuff, you have that Hollywood’s KIIS resing!

David:
Perhaps I’ve become a bit of a snob over the years. Perhaps I’m not as rabid about getting dubs of items as I used to, recognizing that I’ll be old ‘n gray before I get through the thousands of reels here. And lastly, perhaps I don’t get as excited as I used to about new things, as I have found all of my ‘wants’ from over the years.
But… I have provided some materials to folks out here, including some as elusive as missing horses. I have a respect for people trying to find their favorite jingles, but little tolerance for those asking for a dub of every tape that has passed through my hands.
I still find the stuff fascinating from a number of viewpoints, after having been collecting them since 1968. If I only had a few items in my collection, I’m sure I’d be as aggressive as I used to be, calling and pestering program directors all around the country.
