WEAT Palm Beach changed frequency last week from 104.3 to 107.9, and had to change jingles. Here’s cut 1:
June 5, 2012 at 6:20 pm #84495BarrasThanks for posting this TomN, sounds like Fresh by JAM…
Hope you don`t mind if I mention this in my JAM Airchecks thread…just to keep the continuity going….

I tried to get WEAT here in the UK to record more of their jingles, however, got this message…
“We`re sorry, CBS radio is unavailable from your current location”
If there`s any chance you could post more WEAT jingles it would be appreciated…thanks.
June 5, 2012 at 8:03 pm #84496jlehmannI don’t think it’s Fresh, maybe Q92.9 (which is what they were using on 104.3) or Now 97.9?
June 5, 2012 at 8:05 pm #84497dianablanton1984MemberIt’s JAM, but it’s not the Fresh package. Actually, it’s “Keyframes”.

David, you should try Mask My IP and choose USA as your location
Here’s one I’ve just recorded off the web streamJune 5, 2012 at 8:37 pm #84500mjb1124MemberYes, it’s Keyframes – same package they were using at 104.3. Thought maybe they would have gone for something different like the Now 97.9 package (which would fit the “Sunny 107-9” branding very well), but I’m glad they stuck with JAM anyhow. They do seem to be using a bigger variety of cuts now – back at 104.3 they seemed obsessed with cut 6, which I ironically have yet to hear on 107.9.
Here’s some more Sunny 107.9 jingles I recorded.
June 6, 2012 at 6:49 am #84516JAM / PAMSMemberTheir reason for having the same package re-sung, rather than going for a new one, was so that listeners would hear something familiar when they found the station at its new dial position. They did, however, get a few additional cuts and add a few lyrics which weren’t there before.

Here’s one I’ve just recorded off the web streamThanks for this Mike, works perfectly, I`m recording WEAT right now to aircheck the Keyframes jingles….

Thanks for sharing that Jon – that’s what I figured their reasoning was. The package still works well for Sunny in my opinion, and I do like the sing of “Today’s Hits and Yesterday’s Favorites” in cut 1.
June 7, 2012 at 3:56 am #84534BarrasWhen I was airchecking WEAT, I heard an ident for WIRK and then the stream went into WEAT, recording below, anyone know why this happened ?
June 7, 2012 at 4:23 am #84536mjb1124MemberGuess that’s bound to happen when there’s a three way frequency switch…
