A lot of “station songs” in the earlier UK ILR days of 18-20 hour broadcast days rather than 24/7
would be particularly used at “sign-on” at 6am or whatever.

This is how they used to do it in Edinburgh…

Well spotted Noah !

Too rarely do we hear resings by the Dallas etc companies’ representatives on the European Continent,
where lots of packages have been re-sung other than in English by in-country studios.

Conversely, over the years a LOT of very good custom material has been produced in France, Germany,
the Netherlands, etc but which only very rarely has appeared in English-speaking countries.
