Yeah I was the first person to have that “re-sang”
Must admit MANCHESTER MIX did do good jobs with their “Song re-sings”
I wonder how they got away with it for so long!!! 😆Pete

MemberDoes anyone know if Manchester Mix is still in existence? http://www.manchestermix.com/ has been “Under Construction” for years now.
I’ve got a Bill Mitchell name check on chrome cassette from around 1989 — be good to get a better quality version of it now the big man’s no longer with us. Bill Mitchell name checks for 12 quid… those were the days!

Hi there. I'm George, a radio jock on a radio staion in Johannesburg South Africa. I registered for some updates and Google Alerts with Google and they just sent me one now where I see that way back in 2004 you were talking about the possibility of getting some fresh Bill Mitchell idents to replace your old one. Are you aware that Dave Fawkner, the guy who used to produce all the Manchester Mix jingle volumes bought all the jingle masters from Manchester Mix when it folded? If it is in the Manchester Mix vaults, he can retrieve it and get you your original ident. He says he can also create something that is not in the bank (I think using new technology to cut and paste from all the Bill Mitchell idents they ever made).
