Here’s a 2009 aircheck from then Oldies station “Y103.9” (WWYW-FM) out of Dundee, IL. This is just a quick sample of how they were using TM’s Overture. This is the only station I know of that actually used a sung slogan in the TOH cut on-air.
The station is now WFVX “103-9 The Fox” Playing Classic Rock.

Here’s an aircheck from November of last year from “Oldies 104.3 & 96.3” from the New Hampshire/Vermont area. I love the use of ReelWorld’s WODJ package, it works perfectly for a duel-frequency station. And the power in ReelWorld’s accapella cuts is just so good.
The stations now host “Kool 93.9 & 96.3”

December 12, 2013 at 5:04 am #92616tyty21is WWOD still rw? or have they switched. also, TM’s overture was one of the best packages out there, you’d here it almost everywhere, I have a different edit of the legal from its pilot 2 states down.
December 12, 2013 at 5:20 am #92617ctmajkaNope. WWOD dropped jingles all together. Many Oldies stations that switched formats to Classic Rock / Classic Hits dropped jingles in favor of in-house sweepers, unfortunately.
I’d love to hear that edit! I’m a HUGE fan of the Drake melody, and Overture was such a great package. Although the original package isn’t available for lease to new stations, there are still many stations that are using it.

December 19, 2013 at 1:04 am #92703WalkerbroadcastingHere’s a sample from WWOD 104.3/WPLY 96.3.. “Oldies 104.3 & 96.4”

This is what happens when the FM transmitter goes down and you forget the webstream is still going.. the Oldies 104.3/96.3 weather beds and community calendar beds fire off and play on… and on… and on.. and on.. without an announcer/dj. (Since the transmitter had gone down, no one was in the studio)
December 19, 2013 at 10:51 am #92706jlehmannWWOD is no longer on 104.3. They merged with a classic rock station and became Kool 93.9 & 96.3. There is, however another small station in NH using the Reel World WODJ package. Oldies 1400 WLTN, also sometimes referred to as “The Golden Great 98.5” as they now have a FM translator. Here’s a clip of them from tophour.com http://tophour.com/audio/Northern%20NH-Northeast%20Kingdom%20VT/am1400_2010-04_wltn_jlehmann.mp3
December 20, 2013 at 9:26 pm #92724ctmajkaVery cool. I live in Chicago, so once Y103.9 (The only Oldies station left in the Chicagoland carea) switched to Classic Rock, I started listening to Oldies 104.3 & 96.3 through the TuneIn radio app. ‘Twas a great station.
December 23, 2013 at 5:33 am #92747WalkerbroadcastingJeff, I knew that.. but the jingles I posted are from when they were on 104.3
WTLN 1400 and Mix 96.7 stream online too.
December 27, 2013 at 3:16 am #92777jlehmannJust had on the Kool 93-9/96-3 stream for a minute and heard a jingle. It was very brief, so wasn’t able to tell what package yet. It sounded like Reel World, but not the same WODJ package as they had as “Oldies.”
January 30, 2020 at 2:59 am #104615JustinSaysRadioWWOD had the best resing of the WODJ Package, hands down!
