I couldn’t upload this on the download section for some weird reason.

Anyways here is the 1976 set of jingles for BBC Radio 2 – in 2 parts for easy downloading. Not 100% perfect copy but better than nothing and certainly good to listen to – perfection isn’t always better though is it? Sometimes I just like to hear these things as I actually did first time through the wireless, lovely stereo hiss and switching between mono/stereo. Ahhhh the very very good old days.

Thank you to Pete Wilson for submitting these, and following that rule that many of us decent collectors have – the best way to DO jingles is to SHARE them.

On the subject of sharing jingles, I hope you lads don’t mind me mentioning Wiggers (as the personal messaging facility is kapputt again).

I mentioned in a post ages ago about my keen-ness for Radio 1 stuff & he has at his own expense sent me a few copies of the packages through the post this week.

What a great site this is, and made up with thoroughly generous people who make the site pure quality!
