Here’s a real teaser for you: in the late 90s Hitradio Veronica had some JAM cuts resung from the package Soft Sensation, but I also hear some cuts that do NOT come from that package and sound like JAM. I recognize the customized ‘Veronica’ audiologo in some cuts too. Do you know where they came from? Or where they custom made? I never heared them on a JAM demo…

Marc, these cuts were custom made in 1994. (If I’m correct: coproduced by DJ Edwin Evers) and resung in 1996 for Hitradio 1224. I think the package contains 12 to 15 cuts.

Thanks Simon! There are cuts which were demoed by JAM as ‘HitPower’ for Power92 in Phoenix, but some of the cuts above were not. The first two I recognized as cuts from Soft Sensation… The last three I never heared on a JAM demo…

Some of the ‘Radio Donna’ material seems to have been JAM produced (maybe in association with TF) as the cuts in slightly re-worked form turned up in some of 2011’s new packages on jingles.com as with ‘fresh 102.7’ having some of it’s cuts re-worked from the 1995 ‘Heartbeat’ package for London’s Heart 106.2 :) I’m not sure how the Donna cuts would have been sung, maybe a US/NL vocal mix ? but someone will surely know, I think I heard or read something once saying TF sung along with JAM or over-dubbed sections of their joint work to really punctuate the frequency sings etc … also TF sing much higher than JAM most of the time on such projects, I think here on JM someone posted an all-JAM Sky Radio ID & without TF singers in the mix it sounds kinda strange, like unfinished work ! Full credit tho’ to JAM & TF for singing in a variety of languages, that can’t be easy …
