Richard has made a superb choice of cuts, whether they be from JAM, or PAMS. He also spent quiet a bit of time and trouble getting the lyrics just right so they almost sound as though they were originally written for him!

A couple of years back we put some of his jingles in the kitchen mixer along with some music tracks from JAM, for the JAM cuts and PAMS music for the – OK you get the picture!

Just the other day a jingle fan commented to me that jingles are made to segue to music . . . . not into another jingle!

Thanks! Pete and Sean for your kind words. What do you think now Sean, i’m able to upload it’s so exciting. Anyway back to the lyrics’ it’s quite a sad story really. For many years since I was about 12 or so while others were listening and singing along to Duran Duran or Wham! I was listening to jingles mostly on Radio 1, and in my head I would re-lyric them to fit my name, how sad I hear you cry! Well it’s true. Even today I listen to a JAM or TM Demo and do the same thing. Just the other day on my way to work I was re-lyricing the WCBS TOH from the Do it again package. This went on for about a week how sad.

Anyway must go now there are jingles to be sung (in my head).

Just to say that i loved all those cuts top stuff spot on funny because i no another Richard Johnson he used to be the boss of Channel 103 keep up the good work
