        R.I.P. Ken Justiss
May he rest in peace in heaven, and let his heritage live on at the TM archives.

Like many, I ‘knew’ of Ken Justiss, and other well known jingle mavens, but had not had any contact with him personally, but this all changed one day when Ben Freedman was working with Ken on sonovox elements.
When the afternoon session was done, I had over 3 CDR packed with pure fun. The out takes were every bit as entertaining too! I got to know Ken much better after Bens passing, and shared much.

Two guys mastered the sonovox contraption. Ken and Dan Alexander. Their product had balls. Nothing wimpy from them. Perhaps now they are ‘up there’ working on the ultra ‘sono-sensation’.

Rest in peace Ken Justiss. I met Ken at a JAM Christmas party in the late 90s. A very interesting person.
Jon did a nice salute to Ken on his Rewound Show this past Sunday.

I visited Dallas in 2016 and Ken took wife and grandson and I around town to the Book Depository, Southfork and around town. We had dinner with him and hi wife Char at his home. He made some sonovox cuts for my grandson in his studio. He will be missed.
