Reelworld on air in Bay City

      This is from WIOG Bay City, Michigan. Those from out of the area will need the legal deciphering. It sings “WIOG Bay City/Saginaw/Midland/Flint”

      What WAS the PD thinking? Would love to have been a fly on the wall when Reelworld tried singing that ;o)

        We agree on something! A very good point ~ as much as the PD may like ReelWorld I wonder how much they liked him when asked to 'sing the impossible' !

        A classic example of fashion being more important than vocal clarity… all that was needed was ONE custom cut written for THOSE town lyrics ~ but maybe no one at the jingle company told the client that?

          That is Jack Spade. He is the PD at WIOG and WHTS here in South Haven.

          But that makes 3 of us. Why would RW sing 4 citys in the same jingle? That's jack for you.

            WIOG is in Bay City, Michigan. They've been using the 4-city sing since the 80s.

                After all, they (the listeners)don't need to decipher what's being sung in there, cause they already know what it is. Unless you're living in a remotest part of the world, well then again, that jingle was made for WIOG, which is in Bay City/Saginaw/Midland/Flint.

                  Ask another jingle company to do that, i'm not sure if they will ever get to pull it off.
