Hi.
I have a question: has anyone herd of a reelworld jingle sung entirely in Spanish? I already herd jingles sung in English, but for Spanish speakers, who listens to stations that plays the following formats: chr/ac/country, has ever herd of a radio jingle sung completely in Spanish?May 4, 2013 at 4:49 am #90027ViakennyI do think there are RW jingles sung entirely in Spanish.
I mean, there were ReelWorld jingles sung in Portuguese for 89FM in São Paulo, Brazil on its 6-year period as a CHR station (they’ve reverted to their longtime rock format last December). They used two RW packages during their CHR years: their package for Hallam FM and their latest for WKTU.
Their CHR competitor, Metropolitana FM, at 98.5, had jingles sung entirely in Portuguese too, for two packages (KHMX and Key 103 2009). They still use RW (KDMX), but now the jingles only sing their name.
On the other hand, Jovem Pan, at 100.9, plays jingles sung in English since the time they used JAM (I believe their last JAM package was Z+). And that didn’t change when they started using ReelWorld (they now use RW One with the KIIS logo).
But back to the Spanish-language RW jingles, I believe they exist, but someone from a Spanish-speaking country (or from a US market with Spanish-language stations) can give a better picture.
