I want to make sure that Jingle hunters know about DAR.fm – the DVR for radio. This free service records radio stations from around the world. Plus we just released a new feature where you can easily clip out any audio segment (such as a jingle!). Once you record a station, you will see a “Share” button the player page at http://DAR.fm/player Click once to set the starting point and again to set the ending point. Then click the Share button and a Youtube clip will be uploaded of your selection at http://RadioShots.com

This is a brand new feature so please let me know if you have any questions!

glen, that might just be your end, but virus protection doesn’t go nuts, in fact, it’s a great station f recording site for those whodon’t have the budget for recording software. even jinglemad radio is a station on the site’s station guide!

Virus protection software is often stupid and this is a good example. Since DAR.fm installs no software on your computer it would be impossible to install a virus.

The biggest customer support hassles are people who install virus protection software and flash blocking software and then complain when web services don’t work.

McAfee Site Advisor, a standalone product that checks and rates search results with supported search engines e.g. Google, and WOT (Web Of Trust) show the site as completely safe.

So if I was you, I’d inform the vendor of your software so they can update their virus definitions or whatever.

It was updated just before that. The term nuts was a term Iused to describe what happened. And its not impossible to get a virus from a site. I was on the JM site and everything was fine;but when I got dar; 5 trojans showed up. The samething happened a couple of years ago on Pete Wilson’s site which was collaberated by another member of JM.The virus protection updated before I got on JM.

I’m sorry you got 5 trojans, but you didn’t get them from DAR.fm. It’s a radio recording service.
