Just got off the phone with RadioScape's Johnny Hooper… ordered afew new cuts to go with my current package that are heard on LiteFavorites.com.
For those of you who haven't heard them on this site before you can find them here or take a listen to the station.

Johnny said to say Hello to all of his friends and fans on jinglemad.com – and wanted to let you know that he just got back to Dallas from recording at Abbey Road! Some jingles for a UK station and also some of his own music.
My jingles should be sung on August 10… and I'll post them shortly after when I get them if you're interested.

Thanks for the update. I dropped by your site and was really impressed at how your venture has developed in a few short years. Congratulations!
I've turned on the Lite
Look forward to hearing your next package too.
All the best.

August 5, 2009 at 8:46 pm #68980LenGroatGreat to hear Johhny's work again.. he and Debbie sang for us at Alfasound one year in the mid-80s..
…and then in Dallas he sang on both some of the 'old' style GEM jingles, but also the modern JAM material for Trent..
I like the life, energy and youthful style of these jingles, which still manage to be musical in both the vocals and tracks.
Johnny is a very versatile singer, a great writer, and a really nice guy. We went out as a gang in Dallas and enjoyed a few Mexican meals and huge Texas steaks !
Please pass on my best wishes from retirement here in Portugal.

I gather that when Johnny was singing at Abbey Road recently it was for a new custom S2Blue package for a UK station …
August 6, 2009 at 9:27 pm #68995PaulJohnny has been planning the UK project since the end of last year. He laid some tracks for a new CD while he was over too.
Len, Johnny once told me you were one of the best clients he ever wrote for!
