It’s Radio Tees birthday – opening with Les Ross back in 1975
What is it today –
Locally it’s inserted adverts and jingles into a feed of Metro Radio – clinging onto the name TFM before no doubt becoming Hits Radio – North East – i’m not sure that this time next year it won’t be another footnote in long lost radio station names
Anyway here’s a quick jaunt through Radio Tees jingle history – and for those who think i’m an old dinosaur the last jingles from IQ Beats and TM Studio are pretty awesome!
