I remember a few years back on the National Lottery show with Anthea Turner they played a BBC Radio Stoke jingle and I cant remember why.
And also in the 90s there was a show called The Interceptor. It was a show where contestants had run around the country trying not to be found by the Interceptor, and they where given a different challenge to do every day. One of these challenges was to broadcast on a radio station from the studios One group went to Cheltenham Radio and there several Cheltenham Radio jingles used on that show.
Also in the film 'Bend It Like Beckham' there is a Sunrise Radio JAM jingle used in the backgroundOctober 5, 2006 at 1:51 pm #22832londonmusicgroup

And if anyone remembers a mid 80s Granada Television programme called “Jobwatch”.That featured in one episode a section on working in the radio industry using Signal Radio (and the odd jingle)for the report.(The first series of Jobwatch included John Evington in the opening sequence).
I would've liked to have seen that! Mind you there are plenty of news programmes, regional and national, that feature radio station jingles. Central News did Signal Radio about twice in the 80s and they featured the Alfa jingles. One scene had the late Mel Scholes using a Signal song and him doing a big talk up to the end…and towering above him on the sound desk, which is there today, was a big tower of red jingle carts! Priceless : )

Talking of Grange Hill I rember a Radio 1 FM Jingle just after 104.8 went on air actually it would have been around 1988 not 1987
Also not strictly related to the subject but the various radio ads including Radio 210 Radio Mercury also a BBC News Item from 1986 about the possibility of a seperate Radio Licsence I think Gary Davies was in the report doing his lunchtime show. And finally The 815 from Manchester around 1988 either at Z 100 Or Jam in Dallas not sure which but they played a Jingle from the Jam Flamethrower package Rocking America then played the Radio 1 version Rocking the UK…….phew time to rest I think

Once upon a time, ITV DID do sung jingles
– I don't mean the long ITV Song thing – somewhere
early 1970s(???) at Christmas they had a small package
with the lyric “Christmas Means (*) I-T-V” where the
(*) was a “ting” sound to go with a visual “sparkle”.
Each cut was only 5-6 seconds. For them to actually have even a tiny amount of vocal
was unusual, as in those days the IBA rules were that
stations were only permitted a short instrumental sting
with a visual animated or static logo – hence all those
weird & wonderful trumpet-style Fanfares!(Cue for Dave to dig out that video compilation he made
a while back of all those ITV Regional Idents?!?)March 18, 2007 at 3:18 pm #29300dj alexander

The ATV start up was a song….remember “Life Is A Beautiful Book”? by Odyssey?
http://www.sub-tv.co.uk/mp3s/beautifulbook.mp3
Members of the band included Simon May, who went on to write amongst other things, the themes to EastEnders and Howard's Way,and Stephanie De Sykes, who I have been told sung a number of cuts on one of the early Radio Trent packages.
And who can forget of course, the Mike Sammes Singers welcoming us home to “I-T-V!!” and Cath Baxter's YTV Xmas Line jingle – I wonder what would happen now if I phoned Leeds 448199?

Simon May also sang some jingles for BBC Radio London I think back in the 70's.
Just looking through my files i came across this which I don't remember from the time, it's not Simon May but any “archivists” might find interesting.
I haven't read back through this thread but remember the jingles for that horror series of one off plays. One was called “Barty's Party” which featured a radio station that the family being attacked by rats phoned in to. You'd think the last people to phone would be your local radio station, but there you go! :p

Not in TV, but in the Michael Keaton movie “Clean and Sober””, there's a moment where Keaton's Character is speeding off in his car and a WCAU-AM Jingle–Possibly from “The Ultimate Authority”–is being played.

On the film Rita, Sue and Bob too, a Pennine Radio jingle is clearly heard on the car radio. There is also a real life Chorley FM, broadcasting on 102.8 FM to, yes you've guessed it! This is a community station run entirely by volunteers. This post dates the Chorley FM “coming in your ears” of Peter Kay / Phoenix nights so I am not sure it counts.
