Robert Jones during his 1332 The Worlds Greatest Music Station period had a jock cut to the tune of “Me & Mrs Jones”

And yes it did go “Me-ee,An-nd Robert,Robert Jones”

Oh and Geoff,I know where you're coming from with the Hereward jingle influeced by “Reunited”.Part of David Arnolds 1984 package I believe.

What about that classic alfa cut that went “Breakfast ry-de-oh two fifty severn!!!”, it sounded much like Duran Durans planet Earth (I think)

Yes, it was a take off of their song 'Hungry Like The Wolf' from around the same time.

              It's Victory 2.

Try David Hemsley's new site if you can't find it (as it's on there) .but I think it's on Collectors tape 3 or 4 (I think but will be happy to be proved wrong!)

It's on the Alfasound – Tape 2. There are both of the Victory packs on there. The Breakfast radio cut was off the supplimental pack which has a long and a short mix.

Excellent jingle which has a great talkover bed ! :)

                  Radio Victory breakfast radio

thanks to whoever I obtained this cut from originally

Agreed its a great jingle .. I'll see if I've got any off-air recordings of this one in use. It was used as a travel news bed if I recall correctly with “Victory Travel” lyrics at the start

You can say that again!! She thinks I'm nuts!!
Anyway, listening to some TM demo's earlier I came across “summertime” which has jingles sung in the style of songs mostly for Scott and Todd at WPLJ and Dixon and Miller at KVIL. Predictibly most of them are Beach Boy songs!!

Theres also the “original morning show” demo. Cut 4 is “something good” by Hermans Hermits then for some reason there is no cut 5 and it goes straight to cut 6.
There is also”I can see clearly now” resung for Star 94 and Mr Bigs “be with you” which features the line “brush your teeth your breath is bad”. 13 is copacabana, 14 is sweet home alabama, dont know what 15 is then cut 16 is missing. 17 is breaking up is hard to do resung for Kid Craddick (I think thats his name?) There isnt a cut 18 or 19 either!!! TM century, great jingles but they cant count!!! Hahahahaha!
