I used to do a topic on this, but somehow it got deleted, I have made this new topic about radio jingles in dreams, here’s ones I remember having:

-I heard a jingle for a fictional radio station named “Ultra Sprout Radio”, which either used a resing of that Asian Sound Radio jingle, or the Alfasound Radio 106 package.
-I walked through a hallway at night, and listened to CPMG’s Mainstream Cuts, mainly those of Cut 15.
-I listened to an S2Blue Jingle Collection Sample which mainly consisted of French Radio Stations, and I heard a resing of an Alfasound jingle for the web service “PTiFOU”, it might have been the package resung for Horizon Radio in Wicklow, or the BBC Radio Lancashire package.
-Last night, I went on JAM’s website and apparently there was a personal cut package sung for me using my real life name (I’m not revealing it), and surprisingly, it wasn’t a JAM package, it was a TM package what was created for WPLJ.

Do any of you remember hearing real and/or fictional radio jingles in your dreams? I’m curious to know.

I actually have heard some fictional radio jingles in my dreams.

-I once heard a long PAMS cut that goes ‘The Uncensored Robby Dayle Show’, it was originally sung for XMU, but was re-sung again for Integrity Radio after Lazlow got sacked many weeks ago.
-I went to this booth at a national fair where one station, Alice 95.7 continually played jingles from TM, I think it was their Big Phat Kiss package. They were playing this on blast on their stand and I was hyper-fixated.
-I once dreamed about being a DJ on another fictional station, Leap 97.5 and remembered that I played some of the Reelworld ONE jingles with the KDWB logo before literally every single song. Couldn’t resist playing these every hour, so I would sometimes leave them in the clear every top of the hour comes on.

Guess I’m that jingle mad. lol

Hey, same here. Except mine are a tad more complex.

– I once dreamt about a new dance/EDM station that was housed in South Wales that was dubbed “107.6 Play FM” that had a mixture of 538 & Bauer City jingles with the tagline being “The Beat of Neath”. I also believe there was one jingle I firmly remember that used 538’s 2022 jingle “Lennox”, that had both Welsh & English pronunciations, with it saying “Welcome to The Welsh Zone” & it’s tagline.
– Another dream I had used IQ Beats 2002 Capital FM jingle package for 97.3’s Forth 1, I wouldn’t know how that would go down legally but it was weird to hear.
– One other dream I had felt like an alternative universe kind of thing where if Swansea Sound was still alive, and it was using the GHR jingle package, with the ending chorus sounding like “This is Swan-sea Sound”, rather than “Great-est Hits Ra-di-o”.

Guess I’m also that mad ’bout jingles.

What a great dream, TQ105! I can imagine what those jingles may have sounded like.

Here are my jingle dreams as I have them written down in chronological order (a few I had to recall as best I could though):

– I was listening to a jingle demo on SoundCloud of a company called JingleMad Productions that sounded exactly like the N2Effect KDWB 2001 package, and the jingle I remember was the TOH for a station in Albion, Michigan (I don’t recall the name, but I clearly remember the city sing!).
– There was a hit song on the radio made up of the “summertime” sings of various older ReelWorld One summer jingles.
– PAMS is no longer a jingle company, but rather a space organization that flies people to the moon and back in a single day.
– Blue 96-7’s automation was out of control playing jingle after jingle on its own! Sometimes, between these shotgun jingles, it played parts of my voice-tracked morning show. I clearly recall one of these “dream jingles,” which inspired Main Theme 2 in my jingle package’s April 2022 update (the fast part of the theme is exactly what I dreamt).
– 97-5 NOW FM was at my high school cafeteria playing their ReelWorld One CHR promo bed as their morning DJ did a remote broadcast.
– Out of amusement, I played a classic ReelWorld One CHR ramp for 101.3 KDWB on my phone in a dream, followed by a more recent One CHR ramp for Jovem Pan in Brazil.
– I was going through the TM website, and their latest updating jingle package (in the dream) was sung for Kiss 108 in Boston. In the cut-by-cut demo, a male voiceover barreled through the legal ID before the “Boston!” TOH city sing.
– I was passing Flint, traveling downstate from a vacation up north, listening to and recording CK105.5’s new TM jingles.
– I logged onto the ReelWorld One website, and they finally updated their demo jingles! I attempted to make a montage for my SoundCloud account, but I kept having technical difficulties.

I guess I can sometimes get carried away with jingles (don’t we all every now and then?)!

Here’s another one that I just had last night:

– I was trying to fix the Blue 96-7 automation on my computer when it played the recorded show of the owner of Z103.com. It played his voice track over a song intro, but right before the song’s vocals came in, it played an off-key acapella jingle!

I’ve just had another jingle dream last night: I saw a montage of Alfasound jingle resings for American Radio stations, the WBUX one in that other video was in the list, so I’m assuming they were all resung at Ken R.

I once had this odd dream there was this one radio station named NewsRadio HBS in Aether of Tigerlake (a made-up fantasy region), and the station just celebrated its 80th anniversary.
They had loads of old jingles as well as new ones during their so-called ‘Anniversary Week’, where they would play different TOH idents every top-of-hour.

Example: at 8 am they would play a TOH news bumper from ReelWorld from their WMAL package, then at 2 pm, it’s cut 14b of Imus in the Morning from TM Studios and at 8 pm it’s cut 13 of ‘Real Talk’ from JAM. These (except the first one ofc) were from their HBS-am days when they were a full-service station before they changed to a full-fledged news and talk station.

The lyrics go like this:

So last night I had a dream where I was listening to a fictional radio station called Gozzo FM and the jingles used were from the 2009 hit music network produced by IQ beats. But there was a cut that never existed on the IQ beats site that I dreamed of. The news jingle was 3 notes (like the old hit music network) and the VO wasn’t Howard! It was of Sarah Gosling. I didn’t know who she was so I searched her and the voice I heard was the same, the difference was that Sarah sounded like the howard from Hit music network. Here was my dream:
Sound effect, car goes from right to left, VO says: Gozzo FM, Travel. The music plays and the traffic bulletin goes Then the news jingle. 3 note then VO: The Capital of hit music and your number 1 hit music station. Gozzo FM. 3 note jingle and the news plays. Then the top of hour, VO: Now. Back to the hits. Faster. Presenter talks and it the jingle doesn’t sing. VO says: Capital is coming. Then I woke up to realise what happened to local radio a few years ago. It turned into a nightmare. I miss the hit music network days.

I just recently has another jingle-related dream last night, I saw a request forum on Rewound Radio where you can request Jon Wolfert what jingles you want him to talk about, I decided to request him but I can’t remember what jingles I requested him to talk about.

Looks like I’m definitely a jingle fan, because last night I heard a remastered version of the Kent Johnson WJZ jingle from 1942 in a dream.

I’m sure I am a jingle fan. Last night I had a dream of a 2015 jingle. If you’ve listened to capital between nov 2014 and feb 2016, they had a news jingle with dubstep sounds with drop. But the VO wasn’t howard. Again, it was of Sarah. The jingle said: On FM, online, on your mobile and on digital radio. This is Gozzo FM. News (the word news went from centre left right like old capital 2015), then 7 claps) it drops and says: Gozzo. FM. Then the news bed plays. I miss the old capital news jingles from 2015. Does anyone have clean versions of that jingle?

Just woke up from a jingle dream just had one of a wisebuddah jingle package from hits radio 2018. It was a custom resing under the fictional name pilbeam radio. It was 4 note logo and it was as if they were part of hits radio network. Who remembers bauer city 2? That also featured as there was a station called pilbeam 2 radio. Nice dream. Now can’t go back to sleep as I’ve just traded my first jingle!

There’s more.

1. I dreamed about listening to this jingle compilation for XL96.7 in Harbraska (made up) using the Hits Radio package from Wisebuddah. The sweepers go like ‘The Hottest Hits and The Best of Back in Tha Day, Across the Grey Mountains and Beyond’.
2. I once commissioned JAM to do a resing of their R1 jock jingle for Joe 105.8, and the namechecks on this one were madly insane. One cut was for ‘Flynn and Jake in the Afternoons’ and another one was a gospel sing for ‘Harris and the Bear~’ (like that one cut made for KMLE in Phoenix I heard on JMR one day) and so on.

I could go on dumping more of these forever… It feels like a fantasy waiting to come true…

But all my dream jingles mentioned here I actually heard in dreams.

Because in a dream I had last night I heard another Tapetrix Style Jingles demo, and it had a Japanese radio station on it, I don’t think Alfasound would’ve been able to go as far as Japan!

I had a jingle dream where Gozzo FM was part of the hits radio network. If you’ve ever heard the news intro, normally it would say “Hits!” and a short bed and then in my dream it says “Across Wimbledon. Play. Gozzo FM.” And the wisebuddah had resings of Gozzo FM as part of hits radio. The presenters came from manchester but in my dream I had the option to mute the presenter and hear just the bed. Same with the news. I can mute the news and just hear the bed. I’ve actually started hiring former hits radio network voiceovers to make my dream come true, the good days of hits radio 2018. Soon my dream will become a reality. If I’m allowed, can I share my cuts if it happens? Gozzo FM doesn’t exist, it’s a fictional station.

Other jingles I remember hearing on that demo were another jingle for University Radio Bath, a jingle for Waterford Local Radio, a jingle for a strange fictional radio station named “Radio Cupcake” and a jingle pitch for BRMB which was rejected since BRMB wanted to have their jingles sung at MMI, there were unsurprisingly no DJ jingles in the demo.

I can’t remember what other stations appeared on the demo, so I’d just have to make them up:

1. Waterford Local Radio/WLR (resing of the Piccadilly Radio “Share your day with a friend” jingle, which was also resung for Sunshine 91.6 FM)
2. University Radio Bath (resing of the “NHR makes you smile” jingle)
3. BRMB (custom jingle pitch which was turned down since BRMB wanted their jingles done at MMI)
4. Radio Cupcake (resing of Tapetrix Sonotronics cut 8, also resung for Sunshine Radio and Radio 24)
5. Grasslands Radio (resing of a Sunshine Radio jingle, which was also resung for Gateway Radio)
6. BBC Radio Scotland (custom jingle pitch which was turned down since Radio Scotland didn’t want to use jingles)
7. JOQR (resing of the BBC Radio Wales “your sound for the quiet hour” jingle)
8. Radio Goiky (custom jingle based on the Radio Tees “sound of news” jingle by Emison)
9. Radio HBS (resing of the “tonic of the town” jingle with the backing violin, was also resung for Roger Perry)
10. British Forces Radio (BFBS Radio IRL, resing of the “music and good company” jingle resung for Beacon Radio, Centre Radio, Sunshine Radio and Radio Luxembourg)
11. Radio Kidderminster (Sonovox jingle heard on the Tapetrix Sonotronics demo)
12. Capital Radio (custom jingle pitch which was turned down for unknown reasons)
13. Derby Hospital Radio (AU where the Royal Derby Hospital has it’s own hospital radio service, resing of the “turn on” jingle resung for Sunshine Radio and Radio Tay)

I know many of these sound silly and dumb but they’re meant to reflect the fact that dreams can be weird.
