                  Actually the Radio 1 jingles from 1987 are from 1982, so are a little bit older. Hey even my girlfriend confirmed it (and she knows nothing about jingles, lol)

                    not all the jingles from 1987, were from the 82 package there was a package in 1984, where radio 1 kept some of the jingles from the 82 package, such as radio 1 news, weather and travel jingles
