My Power FM aircheck from 1996 is still on Soundcloud. Needs a bit of tidying up at the beginning, but still a good listen, I think. Recorded while I was staying in the fancy De Vere hotel for work. I’d leave it recording when I went for breakfast, went to work etc…

Went into the studios a couple of times, and had a bit of a jingle session in the Production room. A great station, which was never the same when it became Galaxy. The AJ & Grooveaddicts jingles were brilliant.

Very true Iain. It is a good archive. Although I’m a Midlander I do remember getting 210, Mercury and even Southern Sound on FM in Staffordshire at certain time. I got Invicta Radio on AM too back in the day!
