I know that this is a longshot, but does anyone have any Power 99/WAPW jingles? I have a montage that was recorded off-air, but was wondering if anyone has anything else?

For those that don’t know, Power 99 was a CHR station in Atlanta, GA. It signed on in 1986, but at first was called Power 99.7 and hung on to their WARM call letters left over from their previous AC format. In 1988, they were changed to WAPW anf the .7 was dropped from their name. In 1992, the station had started to experiment with Modern Rock, and by late October, it changed formats. Jingles were from JAM (mainly from the Z-100 series) although they did use TM Century’s KIIS 91 (LA’s #1 Hit Music Station) in 1991. AFAIK-All of their jingles were done with sonovox with one exception: Turbo Z cut #17 (Hot fun in the summertime, (sono) Power 99).

      Thanks for reading this,
      Robyn
